Our mission is to be a preferred supplier of white huacaya seed stock to a commercial alpaca fibre industry

For this reason we have defined our breeding plan and objectives to produce early maturing, ultra fine white Huacaya with high fleece weight, correct conformation and high fertility. These are the breeding objectives which we believe will be important to future commercial alpaca farmers. To assist us in achieving these breeding objectives we use the SRS^® breeding system and the expertise of SRSAI Breeding Advisor, John Pike.

Bio-security and Q Alpaca
Nurrenyen is a member of Q Alpaca (09/0348) a bio-security programme designed to monitor and reduce the occurrence of disease, including Johne's Disease, in the Australian alpaca herd. As we also run a small cow and calf beef cattle production enterprise to assist with the management of pasture, our herd of Belted Galloways is registered within the CattleMAP for Johne's Disease control.
